Introduction

Since its establishment, the GRIFF industry has been committed to promoting the integrated development of China's film industry, building an international hub for exchange and cooperation, and creating a global center for Chinese-language film resources. It marks a solid step toward the internationalization of the China Golden Rooster & Hundred Flowers Film Festival.

The 2025 GRIFF industry will focus on four major sections: Golden Rooster Film Presentation, Golden Rooster Film Academy, International Roundtable and Industry Screenings. Representatives from domestic and international film institutions, renowned filmmakers, industry leaders and scholars will be invited to participate in in-depth discussions on topics of international film cooperation and film technology innovation.

Continuing to leverage the Xiamen FTZ National Cultural Export Base, the GRIFF industry will further advance the development of digital film projects, content export and copyright trade, while building an international film copyright service platform that provides comprehensive services for film enterprises, including project exhibition, promotional support, and copyright trading.

This year, the International Film Copyright Service Platform has been selected as one of the key projects under the Ministry of Commerce's "Sailing Abroad 2025" initiative, jointly issued by six national ministries. This milestone marks another crucial step for Xiamen in promoting the internationalization of China's film industry and building a new ecosystem for global copyright trade.
